Four suspected drug peddlers were arrested in two separate operations in Sorsogon and Albay on Saturday, December 10. Illegal drugs amounting to PhP476,000.00 were seized in the said operations conducted in Sorsogon and Albay on December 10, 2022.
In an entrapment operation at around 10:35 AM at Purok 2, Brgy. Peñafrancia, Daraga, Albay, 3 persons were arrested. They were identified as Pangolima Ugkat Mohammad Ali, 46 years old; Tumbaga King Pangolima Fahadz, 32 years old; and Tumbaga Pangolima Sahabudin, 40 years old, all residents of Purok 4, Sapu Padidu Malapatan, Sarangani Province.
Recovered from their possession and control was 20 grams of suspected “shabu” with an estimated DDB value of PhP136,000.00. Operatives also confiscated assorted illegal drug paraphernalia from the suspects.
Meanwhile, one was also busted in an anti-drug operations conducted at Purok 7, Brgy Buenavista, Irosin, Sorsogon around 5:50 PM.
The suspect was identified as Jason Gabito, 38 years old, single, and a resident of Brgy San Pedro, Irosin, Sorsogon.
Confiscated from him was 50 grams of “shabu” with DDB value of PhP340,000.00.
Appropriate charges for violations of RA 9165 are being readied against the suspects for filing in court.
