And if you aren’t done yet with your decorations, take a look at some of the products made by Lovehandkrafted Shop based in Sorsogon City.
The Christmas ornaments and nativity sets from their shop are mainly made of buri and wood beads. Owner Katherine Dioneda Espedido says the materials are 90% locally sourced.
Katherine adds their products are handmade by “angels” partners from the community who are mostly out of school youths and 4Ps beneficiaries.
Beautifully handcrafted ornaments such as buri star with tassle and banig angels ranges from P40 to P50 pesos each while Belens or nativity sets’ price ranges from P80 to P650.
Some of their products are on display at the Bread and Brew, an OTOP hub in Sorsogon City or they can be reached through their facebook page Lovehandkrafted Shop.
Having a native-themed Christmas décor is so fresh and easy on the eyes, and you get to help the community angels too.
