Female employees of the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Camalig receives reading glasses that suits their eye condition with free eye check-up on Wednesday, March 22, at the Rural Health Unit (RHU) Function Hall, Brgy. 2, Poblacion, Camalig, Albay.
Edlyn Noble, the MSWDO officer said in an interview with Bicol.PH that the activity is still part of the Women’s Month Celebration and was sponsored by the Provincial Government of Albay (PGA).
The activity which lasted for two hours was on a first-come, first-served basis and was able to cater a total of 80 employees.
Aira Cortez, Administrative Aide II was one of the female employees who availed of the free eye check-up.
“Nagpasalamat kami kasi siyempre nakatulong sila sa amin para maka avail kami ng free eye check-up,” Cortez stated.
Noble affirms that the event was a success and acknowledged the people who took part in the implementation of the activity.
“Succesful yung event, thankful kami sa Provincial Government ng Albay through Provincial Health Offfice and syempre sa support kan samuyang Municipal Mayor, [si Mayor Caloy Baldo] na, namaterialize ining free eye check up with free reading glasses sa mga female local government employees kan LGU Camalig,” Noble said. | via Mayet Marcayda
