LEGAZPI CITY – In celebration of the Legazpi City Arbor Day, the local government spearheaded the ’17th Alay Lakad Tanim Kahoy Para Sa Puso’ Tuesday, Feb. 14, at Southern Forestland, Brgy. San Francisco and Cagbacong, Legazpi City.
Mayor Geraldine Rosal said that the event was participated by different national agencies, government organizations and other associations and private groups. Some one thousand participants joined the activity by planting at least 3,500 tree seedlings.
She also added there were more participants this year compared to the last two years of pandemic. “Mas dakol po ngunyan. Primerong taon na dakol partisipasyon after pandemic,” Mayor Rosal said.
