SDO Camarines Norte suspends NAT 12 in 3 schools

LEGAZPI CITY- Schools Division Office (SDO) Camarines Norte suspends the conduct of this year’s National Achievement Test for Grade 12 students (NAT 12) in three (3) schools in the municipality of Mercedes, Monday, January 30.

According to Mark Kevin Arroco of Department of Education (DepEd) Bicol Information Office, the suspension is mainly due to heavy rains causing damage to spillways and flooding within the area of Pambuhan High School and Lalawigan High School.

Meanwhile, the island school of Caringo High School which is also located in the same town, is also one of the three schools affected due to bad condition of the sea.

Arroco also said that there are no casualties reported as of this writing, specifically with their test administrators and test takers but an initial number of 157 students were affected by the suspension of NAT 12 in Camarines Norte.

The NAT 12 administration was re-scheduled to February 2-3, 2023 in the said affected areas. | Aimee Mae Gizelle Sesno
